Rachel Glas started her career in journalism in 8th grade when she was a reporter for her middle-school newspaper, The Paw. She worked on yearbook during high school, but the writing bug returned during her sophomore year of college so she switched her major to journalism with the aspiration to become a news reporter.

She reported for the Mustang Daily from January 2008 to June 2008 with a focus on news, particularly election reporting. Over the summer of 2008, she interned at a major Bay Area magazine and worked in public relations for a environmental government organization. She has also interned with a local politician and a local magazine, and hopes to put at least one of her various internships to use in a future career path.

In her spare time, she loves puppies, cupcakes, and debating the news with her hapless co-workers.
